After several months of back and forth and now seperation last night my husband spoke of divorce.....I have been standing so firmly on Gods word and last night I just felt broken.
Lord help me to stay strong in this time of trouble. Lord I pray that at some point you can touch Shawns heart father. Lord he is still unable to tell me why! God help me! Show me what you want me to do. I want your will on this matter Lord! I know that biblically I have grounds for divorce Lord but that is not the desire of my heart Father. God take me through this fire.
Dear Lord, we ask that you will take away these thought of divorce from Shawn. We pray and ask all this in Jesus Name Amen.
Jesus, we ask You to pray to the Father for Sheree, that she would be enabled to embrace His word in Philippians 4:6-8, so that she can be victorious no matter the outcome of her marriage, because she would have allowed Your will to be done. In Jesus' name we pray. *AMEN*
Thank You for your prayers I really need the encouragement... I will STAND and pray and believe. I continue to pray for all of you. somtimes I dont have time to type a prayer but I do pray for you all. I might be a little biased but I do pray especially for the standers. Guys hang in there keep praying and try to enjoy the weekend...... JM how are you feeling today? you gave me such encouragement I was worried about you before You were in my prayers.
Father I ask that you give us peace father give us peace. My Dear Lord God I come to you today praising and magnifying your name God. As we go through our difficulties Father I am so happy that we have found you! Praise be to God! Lord when everything else fails God you never fail, Father I just want to say thank you Lord for choosing us! God I thank you that our spouses are also part of your family and you are calling them home Father! Lord in the name of JESUS I claim that all our spouses will come to know you Father that thier knees shall bow and thier tongues confess that Jesus Christ is LORD. Lord thank you Thank you and Thank you!!!!
Lord, I lift up to you Your children, Sheree and Shawn. Both of them are in great need of Your love and guidance. Lord, comfort Sheree in this time that appears to be dark. Lord, Shwan's words are those of the enemy. The enemy knows that we are praying daily for Sheree and her husband and he is fighting back. However, he can't win. Lord, we pray that Shawn hears Your words as You speak to his heart. Help him to realize what he has in Sheree. He stood at an alter, before You, confessing his love and devotion to Sheree. Help him to remember, with great joy, these vows that he took. Lord, we ask You to comfort and bless Sheree as she does not waiver in her faith and standing for her marriage. Lord, You know what is in her heart. I pray that it is Your will that theis marriage be restored.
Lord, I speak this prayer for all of us standing for our marriages. Lord, grant this prayer to Lisa and I, TET and Jim, Dana & Steve and JM & CM. Bless those who are standing for their marriages and soften the hearts of our prodigals, our loved ones. Lord, we thank You for the glorious changes You have made in all of us. We thank You for bringing us together to pray and glorify You. Please Lord, help us bring our spouses back to You as well. Lord, hear our prayers. AMEN
FATHER GOD I PRAY FOR THE PEACE THAT SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING COME TO SHEREE THIS VERY MOMENT. I PRAY FOR SHAWN SALVATION AND THE PERFECT LABORERS TO BE SENT INTO THE HARVEST. I AGREE WITH ALL THE PRAYERS THAT HAVE BEEN PRAYED IN JESUS NAME AMEN
Lord please bring into the light what is hidden in the darkness. Lord it doesn't surprise me that something like this occured last night, when we we're all praying for guidance for Sheree. Lord please block every attempt the enemy is trying to use in taking Sheree's eyes off you Lord. Help her to keep her eyes on you and not the circumstances. Lord no matter what Shawn may "think" he wants, or what he "thinks" he's planning. We know Your word says that no plans, no wisdom, no insight can Succeed you plans for us. Please comfort & guide Sheree, giving her wisdom on what to say and do. Give her the continued strength to stand firm, and the continued persistence to pray for Shawn. We all stand here before you Lord praying in agreement, for our prodigals to come to you and back to their standers. Lord hold Sheree up with your right hand. Keep her and Shawn on the path you have for them. Convict Shawn in his heart so much that Husbands are not to divorce their wives. Convict Shawn of his sins, giving him a heart of reptenance and acceptance of your Son Jesus. IN Jesus Name Amen.
Dear Lord, You know better than anyone else that this is a difficult day for Sheree, and for many others who are experiencing challenging times in our marriages, so I pray that Sheree will feel Your love in a very special way. May she be rooted in your love today, Lord, May she experience and feel the wonder and power of your amazing grace and love. And Lord, please touch Shawn's heart, who is not walking in right relationship with You today. Sheree's husband now lives in bondage, so I come against all manner of sin, bondage, strongholds, deception, adultery, disobedience and disbelief in the name of Jesus Christ, from which satan must flee. Cover Shawn with the blood of the Lamb so that he will be saved and delivered. Father, we stand against divorce in every way. Void satan of any power. Please give Sheree faith which will enable her to speak to mountains and make them move, and the confidence and assurance that nothing is impossible for her. Comfort her that even though her husband may have other plans in his heart, from You Lord comes the reply of the tongue, and that the words that come out your mouth do not return to YOu empty; that they will accomplish what YOu desire and what You sent them to accomplish. Give her the assurance that YOu honor and uphold the covenant of marriage that was made when You witnessed their marriage vows, and that You Lord will defend it against the treachery of unfaitfulness and divorce. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Father God, I come humbly before You now to ask Your grace fall upon Your child, Sheree. You know the pain that is in her heart now, and I pray that You would comfort her. Hold her during this difficult time. Soothe her spirit and give her Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. She longs to do Your will, Father, guide her to what that is for her life. Lead her down the path in which You would have her travel. Reveal Yourself to her, Father, and remind her that no matter where You would have her go, You go before her, and You go with her. Remind her that she is never out of Your sight, and You hold her always in the palm of Your hand.I pray a prayer over her husband, Shawn, as well, Father. I ask that You would release the hold the enemy has on him. I claim his life for You in the precious name of Jesus. I pray that You would impress upon his heart the pain he is causing his wife, and return him to his marriage. I pray that the love he has for Sheree would be brought to the forefront of his mind, and that he would once again long to be with her. I pray against the spirit of divorce that has settled in this home Father. I pray that it's hold on Shawn's heart would be released, for it says in Your word that You hate divorce, so these thoughts are not of You. I pray that Shawn's thoughts would be returned to thoughts of You, and that he would long to do Your will. Please restore this marriage, Father.In the precious and Holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.Amen.
Father God we lift up Sheree to You for comfort and guidance, and Your wisdom Lord. Please give her peace on this matter Dear Lord. In Jesus name we pray, Amen
