Jesus, Forgive me for my sins, Lord, I don't know why and I don't know what I need to do to det through this weekend. Jesus, forgive me, I feel like I don't belong sometimes. Father, last night, I was fighting back tears, and I want to sometimes just run away, but Lord, give me strength to face my family. I feel so awkward around them, when there is a family get together, and they all start getting into their clicques, and they treat me like I am a nobody. My mom who I love, still has some kind of power over me, and one look from her and I fall apart! Lord, I have a hard time keeping up with her, you know the things she says and does (those gestures) I refuse to be offended, but it did hurt my feelings. It is like I am a kid all over again. Jesus, help me to blend in, I know sometimes I am very quiet, and I am seen as very boring, but I will rejoice, because Lord, when I think about You, It is like I have a treasure in my heart, please protect me Lord, and help me to make it through this weekend. When there is just two or three of my family I do okay, but when there is about 100 of them, and they are all drinking, I am filled with dread. (I feel like I am the one who needs a drink!) I know I can't just sit there and enjoy the reception, because I know that I will probably be chasing my two year old all over the hall, and that is no fun, because again, I am alone. Jesus, forgive me and help me, Amen
Dear Lord, we pray for Marianne and ask that you will deliver her from these thoughts. Dear Lord, we know the world is full of sin and hatred but by your Blood, you have set us free. In Jesus Name We Pray Amen.
Lord, please bring Marianne to the realization that she's made in your image, and is beneath no one, also she's a replica of all that her mother is, molded and shaped with her attributes, so she shouldn't feel inferior to her mother, for if she rejects her own daughter, then she rejects God and self. As far as the other family members goes, they obviously don't have what you have ( a relationship with God) and that is why they're rejecting you, because they reject Christ, remember he told us that the world would hate us for His sake, even family members would become our worst enemies, some of Jesus's family members didn't believe in Him. So rejoice Marianne when family members and others think all manner of evil things, and say all manner of things evil against you, these are the end times jesus spoke of. Even in my home, my sons rebell against me, and hate my instructions, because the devil is seeking whom he may devour. and he has a hand on marriages and our youth. it is up to you and I to not give space to the devil, ignore his temptations, and he shall flee from you. Don't admit and accept defeat, but stand strong in the face of adversity, and when you're finished fighting the 'good fight' you will be strengthen to fight the next battle which will surly come. I just finished a round of attacks from the adversary, and now I can more efffectively bear the burdens of other prayer warriors. Sometimes we have to engage the enemy, not give up, nor give in. Lord, I pray Marianne's strength to understand the why's and wherefore's of these attacks, and insset love where there is hatred and indiference. Let her be a beacon of light that brings her family safely ashore to the saving grace of truth. In Jesus' name I pray. *AMEN*
Marianne, The powers of satan are getting so strong in these last days, resist him, and he will flee. I've been thru so much in my life, but the past 7-10 years I have been almost continually plugged in to TBN, Joyce Meyer, Paula White, Jesse Duplantes, Mark Chironna, Ken/Gloria Copeland, TDJakes, Marilyn Hickey....and without their interpretation of the bible, truthfully, I'd really be strugglin. They just know how to deeply interpet God's Word! I don't have a car, or the means to go to church, and my church is a mostly worship church. The 'hands on living' thing is so tremendous with the above listed pastors, I can honestly say " don't know where I'd be without their insights!" I have no friends, no family(well, 1 sister) no $, my only friends are Jesus and my cat and dog, but I can actually say I'm ok.! I know it's hard to be around the drinking thing, really hard, cuz people just change so much when they drink! Just go be who you are, a God loving child of His, the rest is just all superficial. You trust in your God like you always do, and the things of this earth grow strangly dim. Remember Jesus didn't have the world on His side either. It may be sooner than we think that we'll have those glorified bodies, and I'm really looking for that. Did you check out the wwwraptureready site? It's so good!
