T.G.I.F. / Prayer for Help (for us all)
Suzie
Jan 21 2005

Has this been a long week for any one else? Thank GOD (literally) that it is Friday. Here is a prayer I came across that is for all of us. I have it on a prayer card, and say it a lot. Everyone should print it out and keep it near them, it helps.
A PRAYER FOR HELP
In every need, let me come to you with humble trust, saying:
Jesus, help me!
In all my doubts, perplexities, and temptations:
Jesus, help me!
In hours of loneliness, weariness, and trails:
Jesus, help me!
In failures, disappointments, troubles, and sorrows:
Jesus, help me!
When others fail me, and I need your grace:
Jesus, help me!
When I am impatient and my cross irritates me:
Jesus, help me!
Always, in spite of my weakness, falls, and shortcomings of every kind:
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus,
help me and never forsake me.
Amen.

What you can do to Grow Spiritually

(2 Peter 3:18 KJV)
(18) But grow in grace, and {in} the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him {be} glory both now and for ever. Amen.

(1 Peter 2:2-3 KJV)
(2) As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: (3) If so be ye have tasted that the Lord {is} gracious.

(2 Timothy 2:15 KJV)
(15) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

(1 Timothy 4:15 KJV)
(15) Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

(Hebrews 6:1a KJV)
(1) Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection;

(2 Peter 1:5-8 KJV)
(5) And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; (6) And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; (7) And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. (8) For if these things be in you, and abound, they make {you that ye shall} neither {be} barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(Ephesians 3:14-19 KJV)
(14) For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, (15) Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, (16) That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; (17) That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, (18) May be able to comprehend with all saints what {is} the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; (19) And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

(Colossians 1:9-11 KJV)
(9) For this cause we also, since the day we heard {it}, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; (10) That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; (11) Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

(Colossians 3:16 KJV)
(16) Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

(2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV)
(18) But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, {even} as by the Spirit of the Lord.

(Psalms 92:12 KJV)
(12) The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

(Philippians 1:6,9,10 KJV)
(6) Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform {it} until the day of Jesus Christ: (9) And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and {in} all judgment; (10) That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;

(Ephesians 4:14-15 KJV)
(14) That we {henceforth} be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, {and} cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; (15) But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, {even} Christ:

Suzie, that was a good prayer. Yes, this week has been a hard, but wonderful one. I've come too know each one of you, on the prayer line, a little bit more. And now I know, I'm not alone. We have strength when we stand together, and help one another with words of encuragment and prayer. Each time my triles became more intense, I have found peace through this prayer line. God has put us together, too fight our battles together. Praise God, for each one of you. And guess what we made it through this week, with more strength in God. I give God the glory. He had plan this week for each of us too learn more about Him, and how we can trust, and lean upon Him. I have Joy in my heart, brothers and sisters. I even have a song in my heart. My God give all of you the strength you need Suzie.
There is a web site that may be what you need for your husband. It might be the best one for Kyle also. Teen Challenge, is one of the best programs we have in the states. They are not just for teenagers. They help all ages. It was started by David Wilkerson. They have a web sight. www.teenchallenge.com. there you can find a program that is best for you. They deal in drugs as well as other additions. You can go on line and find one near you, or get help right on the web sight. They have the biggest recovery rate. They have support groups for family members as well. It is a Christen bible base program. That is why their rate is best. God's hand is in on the healing, not mans.
I'll keep you in my prayers, Suzie. God has heard your prayers and is answering them. Don't get discuriaged. Satan will try to destroy what he can, but he can't unless you let him. With God in control, you know there is victory.
Lord bless Suzie with the faith that is needed to have victory over all her problems she is facing right now. Bind Satan, from doing any more harm to her , and her family or husband. Let peace rule in her house. I ask this in Jesus's Name, Amen.

Thank you
