Good thought for the day, I don't know what I would do without the support and caring of "my" priest. I live next to a Catholic Retreat Center and see lots of priests, monks and Nuns and I feel really lucky to know them. Men and women who has a sole purpose in life to be Holy and to devote thier lives to God and his people is humbling. I am a sinner and I strive to be better. I feel the love and support from these people is the only thing that gets me through tough times.
Loving Father, in Your love for us You sent Your Son
to be our Shepherd and Leader, our Brother and our Lord. You continue to show Your love for us by sending us pastoral workers to care for Your people. Bless all of them as he/she takes up this responsibility among the people of their community. Let Your Spirit guide him/her in teaching and guiding us, and in leading us in worship and prayer. Father, we ask this prayer through Jesus Christ Your Son in the love of the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen.
