Father God, only You know what is going on in my husband's heart. Only You know what transpired in the 5 minutes that passed between our phone conversation and when I walked in the door to our home. Only You know what made him turn to bitterly cold and distant. Only You know what made him lash out at me just now. I have my guesses, Father, but they are just that...guesses. Only You know the whole story. I ask that You give me strength to endure my husband's coldness, and wisdom to know how to help him through whatever it is that happened. I pray, though, that while You give me strength to endure, that You would also soften my husband's heart to see that the way he treated me just now is not right, and not deserved. I pray that You would impress upon his heart to stop taking this anger/frustration/bitterness, etc. out on me. I pray that You would open his eyes to see how his actions hurt me, and melt his heart of stone. I pray for Your comfort during this time...as without him by my side right now I feel as if I am left to navigate the mourning of my sister-in-Christ, Teresa's, passing alone. I thank You that CM stood by me during the funeral, and ask for Your comfort now that he has taken off again in anger, and left me to myself. Reveal Yourself to him, Lord. Fill his heart with Your love. Replace his anger/bitterness/frustration with peace and love. Show him the path You would have him travel, and give him the strength to travel it.

Dear Lord, we pray and ask that you will continue work in the lives of this couple. Dear Lord, take away all the strain in this relationship and make this couple close again. In Jesus Name We Pray Amen.

Lord, I am in agreement with all of these prayers. Lord, please hold and comfort JM. She has worked so hard to stand for her marriage. Please Lord, give her some ray of hope, some vision that You are indeed working in CM's heart. Lord, bless her with comfort of knowing that You are setting her up for a victory. Provide her with the patience that is needed to let a You do your work. Sometimes Lord, we hurt so bad that we have no patience in waiting for Your answer. We wan't the pain to go away. Lord, I know we pray in our time and the answers come in Your time. Give JM, and the rest of us, the patience to stand and let You work Your plans for us. Lord, we also pray that CM allows You into his heart. Let him "hear" the promise of glory that You have made available to all of us if only we will accept it. Push the enemy away from CM and bring him home to You and JM. In Your name we pray. AMEN.

Our Dear Heavenly Father I ask that you continue to hold JM close to you Father Lord let her feel like she is never alone and allow her to feel your comfort right now God. Lord I ask that you touch her Husbands heart and continue Lord God to work on him Father. I know Lord that somtimes the work is already begun but we are unable to see the series of events and activities that you have already put in place and motion Lord we pray for comfort while we stand in the gap and wait for your will to be done.
