My Dear Lord Jesus, It saddens my heart and I know that it must break yours to see so many of your children go through the pain of seperation and divorce. Almighty God I pray with all that I have that you take away this spirit of seperation and divorce that seems to be sweeping the nation. Lord God I pray that you take back your family into your hands and remind the enemy that he is a liar. Lord God in your words you have said that You HATE divorce, Lord please it is becoming so "normal" for people to get divorced. Lord this was never your plan. Father God I pray that there be a national revival for people to come to know you and the covenant and importance of families staying togather. Father I pray for the children that are all afflicted during these times and I pray Father God that you will protect them Lord God shield them from the pain and restore happines to thier tiny little hearts. Lord God I pray and cry out to you that you please wake up all the prodigals, Lord send out your angels in full force Father to do your work. Lord I ask all these mercies in the name of your Son Jesus Christ Amen
Dear Lord, we say Amen to this prayer. We ask that you will reconcile all marriage because divorce is not of you. In Jesus Name We Pray Amen.
Jesus, I ask and pray to you, to pray to your and our father for an outpouring of the spirit of responsibility upon husbands/wives as was addressed at the NAACP convention by Senator Barack Obama. His theme to the black fathers was to except responsibility, and to engage our children. He stated that any 'fool' can have a child, but it takes a man to raise one (paraphrasig here) but he challenges us to do exactly what we vowed to do when we said our vows and commitments to each other in marriage. This to me is the sinle most important platforms that one could run on, because here in North Carolina, there has been several wife abductions and killings by their own husbands, and these are white families. Every time you turn on the television, a celebrity is getting divorced, someone's spouse is missing, or killed. Its getting way out of hand. We need a serious revival of marriages in our land. Lord, hear our prayers fom Jesus' intercessions for us, and bring back those loving feelings, that once upon a time, did exist between this husband and wife. *AMEN*
Sheree, what a wonderful prayer! Lord, please hear this heartfelt prayer from one of Your children. She has expressed what so many of us feel. Please Lord, send Your angels to plant the seeds of Your love into the hearts and minds of our spouses. Please heal these broken marriages we have layed at Your feet. Please bless all of us with renewed marriages in Christ. In Your name we pray. AMEN.
