Prayer Request

healing and restoration

Thank your Father and for all that have prayed for my marriage and you moved within 24 hours of my prayer. I now am praying for patience, total forgiveness, and mercy for my husbands affair. It's out in the open yet, I still think how he spent a lot of time calling this woman day after day and he barely spoke to me. I forgive him and want to move forward. But it seems more like I asked for his forgiveness and he acts like he got of scott free, but I do love him. Also, the Lord revealed to me why our family is suffering financially. The sin of adultry not only brought lack in my marriage but opened the door for lack in every area of our lives. So, please pray for healing and restoration in our marriage, my body (back injury, lost job, unable to work) finances and family. Thank you Father and may He bless all families in need of Him.

Moni, one thing I have found out over the years is that men and women think and act differently, they react differently to the same situation. I am thinking that your husband knows you know he failure, he knows you have said you forgive him, so he is acting on the statement that you have forgiven him. That is why men have an easier time believing the promises of God. They think, "oh He said.....so that's what He meant." Women have a tendency (speaking as one) to say, "I forgive." But do we really? I've found myself saying I forgive but a little piece of me wanted to hold on to the offence for awhile....to punish....to be right and the injured one. You may not be this way. Something to think about in the end, do you want to be right, the injured, or have all God has for your marriage? I pray that your marriage soar to places you never thought it could. I pray a closeness between you and your husband that surpass anything you could imagine! I pray that you totally sell out to this marriage and will fight the enemy as he comes to whisper things in your ears, fight him and cling to God and what He says to you. Bless you my sister, I pray God's best for you, I pray you will be in a place for Him to teach you.
