i am a born again christian yet i a have been considering having an affair for a long time. My husband is sexually and physically there but he is emotionally and mentally absent from our marriage. He is not a believer. I have prayed against these temptations yet they continue to fester my mind EVERYDAY. How do i stop these thoughts? Please pray for me.
LORD U KNOW THE MIND AND DOINGS OF ALL YOUR CHILDREN SOMETIMES THE CIRCUMSTANCES MAKE THE FLESH TO DO WRONG LORD GOD YOU KNOW WE ARE FLESHS PLEASE FORIVE HER AND LET THEM NOT SIN AGAIN THIS WE ASK THROUGH JESUS OUR SAVIOUR AMEN
Dear Lord, we pray for this sister and ask that you will stop her from having these thoughts. Dear Lord, give her the sense of courage to overcome this temptation. In Jesus Name We Pray Amen.
I agree with all of these that say, DON'T DO IT! I remember Brother Hagin used to say, "you can't stop birds from flying over your head, but you don't let them build a house in your hair" (or something like that.) What he was saying is, those thoughts may come, but it is up to you if you act on them. I was in a marriage like your's. I prayed and stayed faithful to God, His Word first of all and to the marriage vows I made. I prayed for God to do something to give me the life that is more abundant. It took time but God moved. Not how I thought He would, but it's better! I now have a husband that loves me, cares for all my needs and I am second in his life only behind God! Had I went off on my own without God I am afraid to think where I would be now. STAY WITH GOD AND HIS WORD...IT WILL WORK...IT IS SO VERY MUCH WORTH IT. Father, in the name of Jesus' I pray for this sister. I pray that You will strenghten her to stay out of this wrong path. Satan's lure is strong, but I pray our prayers and her determination will be stronger! Father work on this marriage, according to You will and Your Word. We understand there are no shortcuts, but the victory is so worth the wait. I thank You for my life today! It is a gift from You and I am so thankful I didn't throw away my blessed life, on a moment of fleshly wantings, that I know wouldn't be a great as satan makes it sound.Thank You Father!
I beg if you please don't! My husband loved my greatly and when things would go bad I turned to someone and it only would bring greater pain and it finally boomaranged on me. I praise God for forgiving me and giving me the strength and courage to forgive and love my husband like never before. Adultry is by far the deadlist weapon satan uses on us. It causes far more damage than you could ever imagine. It can destroy peace, love, trust, families, lives and the love that God has for us. Again, please don't, just seek God's love and seek wisdom, courage and strength to love on your husband like never before. God will honor and reward your faithfullness.
Adultery or fornication all sin and God doesn't like us all to tempt to act affair outside of marriage so, I courage you don't do it and don't let satan to make you all tempt to do it wrong sin and satan wants us all do it bad sin. I pray for you not to tempt into sin. I know it is hard but pray fast and ask the Lord to help you fast and tell satan rebuke out and make sure u to stand up for Lord and bible said if u tempt then sin period. No agrue or no question about it period. God forbids so, try not to tempt yourself into adultery no. I pray that you think twice and pray. I am christian too as born again and I had once adultery but realized it is wrong to do it and ask the Lord to forgive me and he did forgive me fast and after that I don't adultery so far since . I am happy marriage. I do hope u all will work it out thru Lord's helping. I understand that your husband is not believer but why marry him first place? Bible said if he or she doesnt believe in God as different religious then don't marry non christian. Bible wants us all to marry same believers so, I hope your husband will accept Jesus Christ in his heart as salvation so, pray everyday alot and if he doesnt want to accept Jesus Christ as salvation then let him go...My first marriage is christian yes but he never loves me at all and he kept push me away and I was hurt badly and I left him yes and I realized he did wrong and disobey God about our marriage that he did push me away and made me divorced him. But now I am remarried second marriage and we pray hard and ask the Lord to help us to stay marriage as strong. Satan loves to destroy christian people to screw up their marriage so, keep pray alot ok. God bless you...
