I have been on this site for a while now and it is paining my heart to see how many prayer request that are coming in for marriage restoration. This is somthing that I have prayed on and have decided to do Prayer and fasting and the reading of the Word intensively for the next three days. I am asking if there are anyone out there who feels this desire to stand with me with intensive prayer on this area. I want us to put aside our own issues for a while and just reach out to our heavenly Father to fight this attack on families and marriages. I know that many voices praying earnestly will affect change. I know everyone is not at the same place spiritually so you dont have to fast but at least dedicate yourselves to praying and reading the word against divorce and seperation, reading Gods word in regards to marriage and reminding God what we are praying for. I pray that there will be a rival because it is becoming increasingly normal to hear of divorce and that was never Gods plan lets pray against this with all that we have and just lay it at our Fathers feet.

Jesus, as we come together in prayer intercessions for broken marriages and divorces, we ask you to be our chief intercessor, so that nothing shall be left unsaid, and no stone shall be let unturned. We know about the hollywood love that we see on television, and the infatuation thereof, but we need for the Father to help us discern the love that's spoken of in the Bible between husband and wife. The love that causes one to leave the family, and cleave to the wife/husband, for they have become as one, in body and spirit. Help the new generation of potential newly weds, to understand your covenant agreement that's prescribed and contracted to marriages, before considering saying vows and making promises to You, O Lord, and their mates. This is one of the most important decisions and contracts that one can enter into, so please enlighten them to the seriousness of these vows so that they will not be taken for granted. I'm a living witness that one should know the will of God first, concerning marriage, and then make the decision whether to enter into this contract or not. Give to new generation that "old time religeon" the one that says "husbands, submit yourselves to your wives, and wives, submit yourselves to your husbands. For your body is not your own, neither is his body his own! but both are subject to one another. The world has put a new spin on relationships, anything goes! but without God's instructions, everything goes! *AMEN*

Sheree and everyone else. I am with you. I agree that we need to pray for marriage as a whole. The ease at which people can end the holy bond of marriage is frightening. In addition to praying for my own marriage, I continuously pray for everyone else who has marriage struggles. I also say a special prayers for those married couples who have and continue to honor their promise made before God. Mya the Lord bless these couples and let their dedication and love be an example for us all. Lord, hear the prayers of all of us standing for our marriages. Lord we thank you for the blessing you gave us in our spouses. Please forgive us for not always recognizing the gift You have given us. Oh Lord, restore our marriages and let us become a testimony to You and the gift of marriage. Lord, we pray that You restore the reverence of marriage that seems to have been lost in this country. Lord, many have lost their way and we pray that You will help guide them back. In Your name we pray. AMEN.

Dear Lord,
Thank you that you have instituted the covenant of marriage. As your word says in Genesis, Matthew, Mark and Ephesians that in the beginning of creation YOu made male and female, and for this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife and the two will become on flesh. So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore, what God has joined together, let man not separate. And again in Malachi it is written, "Has not the Lord made them one? In flesh and spirit they are his". And in 1Corinthians, that each one should retain the place in life that the Lord assigned to him to which God has called him. And again in Malachi it says to guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith with the wife of your youth. You said Lord, that you hate divorce. Therefore, Lord, we come against divorce.
I am thankful, Heavenly Father, that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, to the casting down of imagination and every high thing that exalts itself agains the knowledge of God, and to bring every thought into obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, in all of the standers and prodigals marriage today, I tear down the strongholds of satan and smash the plans of satan that have been formed against us. I tear down the strongholds of satan against us standers and our prodigal's minds and I surrender our minds to you, blessed Holy Spirit. I affirm, Heavenly Father, that YOu have not given our prodigals and us standers the spirit of fear, but of power and of love, and of strong mind. I break and smash the strongholds of satan formed agains our prodigals and us standers' emotions today and I give our emotions to YOu. I smash the strongholds of satan formed agains our prodigals and us standers's wills today, I give our wills to You and we choose to make the right decisions of faith. I smash the strongholds of satan formed against our prodigals and us stander's bodies today, I give our body to YOu recognizing that we are your temples. I rejoice in your mercy and goodness. Amen.
