Blessings in Brokeness
Tim
Feb 18 2005

Are you feeling broken right now, down and out, defeated, bruised and weary, well believe it or not there's blessings in brokeness.
When we are broken we become a blessing.
Take the 5 loaves and 2 fish,Which did not become a blessing until they were broken, how much of a blessing, a blessing to touch at least five thousand.

Brokeness is good amen.

What about this one then, Jesus become broken at the cross, he went through pain and suffering and was most certainly broken, But Praise the Lord his brokeness turned to a blessing which affected not five thousand but the whole world.
In Isaiah 53:10 we read that it "Pleased the lord to bruise him" God bruised his own son, and i believe that it pleases the lord to bruise us or break us, because such a blessing will come from brokeness.
Romans 8:28 And we know all things work together for good to them that love God and are called according to his purpose.
Brokeness can most certainly be a good thing in the end.

Read the story of Job see how broken he was, he lost everything, to the point he wished he had never been born, does that sound like you right now, well the story did not finish there, out of Jobs brokeness came blessing, whatever he had lost, God gave him back double, What a blessing, he had twice as much as he every had before, but the real blessing was he found God and saw him like he'd never seen him before.
If your brokeness can lead to other people being touched by God, if your brokeness can lead you to find God and see him like never before, we would have to conclude that there is blessings in brokeness. amen

So true....I agree with it. Lord God thank you for our lives, I know that when I am really upset and tired with life I question why that is. As Tim has just pointed out blessings do come from being broken. Thank you Lord for everything. In Jesus Name. Amen

I complitely agree woth it. For most people, we need to go through tough time in order to became better people, to appreciate things more. If wealth would be just given to any one of us, we wouldn't appreciate this, the same with love, we all would take things for granted. After we almost destroyed emotionally and physically, we ask help of God, and after our life getting better, we all started look different on life. It is weard, but it is a real life, and life is wonderful!

Dear God, thank you for everything, thank you for making us better people. Everything you put us through, it is for making us better, to make us to be closer to you. You never leave somebody who believes in you, and work hard. I know it is up to you to say that it is enough for this person, from now on he/she is going to be blessed life. Thank you for all wonderful gifts you give to us, thank you for your protection, thank you for giving us jobs, THANK YOU FOR OUR LIFES. Mostly, I want to thank you for giving us our kids, and just for beeing here for us. Please, dear GOD, continue to bless us, and answer our prayers if they are according to your will.
Thank you. We love you Lord. In Jesus name. Amen!
