To those standing for their marriages

I know this is for prayer requests...but...the Lord lead me to a couple books that have proven to be such a blessing in my life, that I wanted to recommend them...
The first is Praying Through the Deeper Issues of Marriage by Stormie Omartian. God has really used this book to show me things that I had never even considered about marriage before. There were so many times while reading that I found myself thinking "that's exactly how I feel!" This is a great book, also, if you are having a difficult time finding the words to pray because she includes prayers at the end of each chapter.
The second is The Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie Omartian (for the men who are standing for their marriage...there is The Power of a Praying Husband). God has really used this book as a reminder that the best thing I can do for my husband is to pray for him.

Dear Lord, we thank you for JM sharing with us these 2 books regarding marriage. We ask that you will continue to let us see marriage in your context of husband and wife. In Jesus Name We Pray Amen.

O, Soverign Lord, be a comfort to all those who's suffering from heartaches and pain that's associated with conflict in their marriages. In Jesus' name I pray. *AMEN*

Be at peace with yourself and your spouse. Anger, resentment, doubt and fear. It is my prayer for you all that this weekend at least, you put it all aside and find peace in your soul, the kind that comes from a loving God. Father I pray this for all, those in troubled marriages or any kind of trouble. In Jesus name, Amen
