Romans 5:5 New International Version (NIV)
5 And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
You have God's love in your heart. How much love does God have? That is what is in your heart. When Jesus was on the cross He said, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." You have the same love in your heart. Jesus went to the cross because He loves you. And you have the same love in your heart.
You may ask "Then why don't I act like it?"
Romans 12:2 Amplified Bible (AMP)
2 Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
It is a matter of "renewing" your mind. We have been brainwashed by the world. We need to let God reprogram your mind. That is why we need to think about, talk about, pray about and read the Word. Renew your mind all the time. As you renew your mind you will walk with love, power, and confidence. You will have the victory.
Speak the Word:Father I walk in love with everybody around me. I walk in love with my friends, my family, my coworkers, and yes even with my enemies.
