James 1:2-4 New King James Version (NKJV) 2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. Hebrews 6:12 New International Version (NIV) 12 We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised. How do you count something as "Joy" when it does not feel good? Trials are not comfortable and they do not feel good, so how can you count that as joy? You have to make a decision or a choice. You do not count it joy because of how you feel. You consider it joy because of what you believe. I believe I am healed. Therefore, I have joy even when sickness attacks my body. I am not talking about fooling yourself into denying the facts. I am talking about denying sickness the right to be in your body because you are healed. Romans 4:17 New King James Version (NKJV) 17 (as it is written, "I have made you a father of many nations") in the presence of Him whom he believed--God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; Faith calls those things that do not exist as though they did. Faith says I am healed when the body is sick. Faith calls the bank account full when it is lacking. Faith calls for peace even with their enemies. Speak the Word: Father I am healed, and prosperous. I have peace and harmony with everyone I know. I stand in faith and endure until I see the promise in my life.
