2 Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.

God gave you a strong will. Your will is part of your soul - mind, will, and emotions. For your soul to prosper your "will" must line up with God's will. God gave you the power to choose. You can choose to do it your way or God's way.

19 "Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, that you and your descendants might live!

You can choose blessings or curses. It is up to you. The more you live according to God's will the more you will be blessed. The more you choose to live life the way you want to live the more your life will be cursed. Life gets harder when we do it our way.

For your soul to prosper you have to bring your will into agreement with the Word of God. God will not change your will for you. Your family, friends, or spouse cannot do change your will (but they can influence your will). This is something you have to do yourself. You have to choose. The will is changed by meditating on God's Word. Meditating is simply thinking about something over and over again. People that fret and worry are meditating on the wrong thing. Get your thoughts onto what God has said. Think God's thoughts and before you know it you will be doing those things God has told you to do.

Speak the Word: Father, I bring my will into subjection to your will. I meditate, ponder, and consider the Word of God. I am bringing my will into agreement with the Word of God.
