What exactly does His voice sound like anyway? How can you tell when the Lord is speaking or if it's your own human voice telling you something?

Because of the hour in which we're living, it's imperative to be able to hear the Voice of the Lord distinctly. It's obvious we're living in the days of seducing spirits and doctrines of devils (1 Timothy 4:1). But it's also very obvious we're living the days of the Voice of the Lord!

As you know, there're many ways in which the Lord speaks, reveals and makes known the answer you need. I'm convinced He's always talking. Our listening or hearing ability has to improve until we can hear accurately every word He's speaking to us.

There've been many times I've prayed and fasted for days on end and still couldn't get an answer to my question or a solution to my problem. I know the same thing has happened to you at times. Then you get to the place where you don't even want to pray anymore. You experience frustration because "He" is not answering you, right? I've been there too. So what's the problem?

• First, it has to be settled in your heart the Lord is always giving you information, direction, correction and the answers you are looking for. If not, the devil will have a play day in your life.

• Second, you have to learn to know His Voice from all the voices, sounds and noises that are going on. What does His Voice sound like anyway?

I'm in the same place you are. I need to hear from the Lord, too. In fact, it's a must for me to hear accurately everyday. A while back I started getting into the Word again and building myself up on faith concerning hearing His Voice. As a result of this search, a few days ago I taught on how to hear from God at the school.
