Ephesians 3:17-19 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,
19 and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.
God wants you to know how much he loves you. He wants you to know the breadth, and length, and depth, height of His love for you.
Romans 5:8 New International Version (NIV) 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Yesterday we saw how God commanded us to love one another. Let's take a moment to look into the love of God. This time I replaced "love" with "God".
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Amplified Bible (AMP) God endures long and God is patient and kind. God is never envious nor boils over with jealousy. God is not boastful or vainglorious. God does not display himself haughtily. God is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride). God is not rude (unmannerly). God does not act unbecomingly. God does not insist on His own rights or on His own way, for God is not self-seeking. God is not touchy, fretful, or resentful. God takes no account of the evil done to Him. God pays no attention to a suffered wrong. God does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness. However, God rejoices when right and truth prevails. God bears up under anything and everything that comes. God is ever ready to believe the best of every person. God's hopes are fadeless under all circumstances. God endures everything without weakening. God never fails.
Speak the Word: Say the above verse (1 Corinthians 13:4-8) out loud.
