Romans 12:1-2 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
1 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.

2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Are you a living sacrifice? Sometimes it seems like a sacrifice to live holy. It seems like a sacrifice to obey God. But I have found that it is not. When I was younger I read:

Matthew 11:29-30 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
29 "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS.

30 "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

And I would think "Man this is not easier. It is easier to sin than to live holy." But as I have gotten older I have found that Jesus was right. Because when you sin you lose your joy, love, peace, and your soul finds no rest. There is no satisfaction. The more I walk holy and acceptable to God the greater my joy, love, peace, and satisfaction. You can have it all. Just walk holy and acceptable to God and you will find that it was not a sacrifice. It was the bargain of your life.

Speak the Word:Father, I walk holy and acceptable to you. I determine to obey you in all things. I have great joy, love, peace, and satisfaction in my life.
