Deuteronomy 28:2 Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
2 and all these blessings have come upon thee, and overtaken thee, because thou dost hearken to the voice of Jehovah thy God:
Parents love their children. During Christmas you can see parents flocking to the stores to buy their kids clothes, toys, bikes, games, and more. Parents want to see their children blessed. God feels the same way about you. God wants you to be blessed. God wants you to have more than enough for every good work. God loves you and He is anxious to bless you with more than enough.
God does not want you to get hurt. God put a stipulation on the blessing "if you hearken to the voice of the Lord". Really it is not a big thing, it's a simple thing. To be blessed beyond what you could think or even imagine just hearken to (listen and obey) the voice of the Lord.
Speak the Word: Father I love you and I trust you. I listen to you, I obey you, and I believe that you are blessing me abundantly.
