i am 47, had a very rebellion life to god, now i focus and would like to have a mate who is in love with god, and know how to love me and i know i just can not pray it all at once but i believe god know just what i need and to direct my step and growth that the choice would be pleasing to him and we will work the work in the ministry that the lord have been preparing us to do from the day we were born and all the other belessing come with having a mate and to be patient and content and victorious that our eye, love will be ever toward god that he fulfilled another desire in the right time. eph 3:20 i claiming right now.

Ann, please try to just love yourself and be satisfied, we all desire companionship yet, be careful and thoughtful of why you desire a mate, if you are looking to fill a void or you feel it is time to get married may not be enough, a man may not always be what you need, look deep inside yourself and make sure you are happy, secure, fulfilled and self-sufficient, because bringing some else into your life that may not have the ability to meet your needs as a woman needs, may bring you more loneliness and unhappiness, I do pray all the happiness in the world to come to you and if a mate can add additional contentment to your life, praise God. May God bless you mightily and bless you with all your heart desires.

I have a friend that was praying for a Godly wife. I tried to "fix" him up and tell Godly women how wonderful this man is, to no avail. I was in a marriage with a very unsaved man. I prayed for God to change him, get him saved and then he would be a better parent and husband. Well, after years of this, my friend praying for him a wife, me staying faithful to a mean-spirited hateful unsaved man...my husband left me. Tired of my "squeeky clean living". He left me! Praise God he left me! He left our house far in debt, bills everywhere, but he left. Which I found in the Word meant I was free to remarry or whatever. My friend that was praying for a Godly wife and I were married few years ago. We are so very happy. I love this man, he loves me and we both love the Lord with all our hearts! God is so good, my point is: sometimes He answers our prayers in ways we would never think. But thank God He knows what is right for each of us! Praise God for my wonderful husband, send as a gift to me from my Father, God! I never saw this one coming! It's a great abundant life!!!

Ann, I must say we both are praying for the same thing. I have been married twice. I was divorced by #1 and I divorced #2. I cannot say I wanted to experience either. I was engaged almost 2 years; wanted to get married; he decided he didn't. He left. Do I still love him? - very much so. Would I take him back if he asked? - only God knows. In the past, I would have said yes; now, today, I look to, rely on and fully depend on Jesus Christ. I've made mistakes; we all have. I've read the "Purpose-Driven Life," and it helped. I've read Joel Osteen's new book, "Your Best Life Now," and it helped. But what really is helping is knowing God loves me. He is my Husband. I do want an earthy mate but there are some things God has put in my heart when I look for a mate: My Mate will have 1. Integrity of God Almighty, 2. Walk of Enoch, 3. Faith of Abraham, 4. Virility of Jacob, 5. Courage of Joshua, 6. Heart of David, 7. Wisdom of Solomon, 8. Compassion of Jeremiah, 9. Stability of Daniel, 10. Boldness of Peter, 11. Humility of Paul, and 12. Humor of Himself. So you see, I'm waiting. I'm 51, but I'm waiting. B N KURGED!

Lord please guide this person and if it is in Your will let her find a God fearing mate and if not Lord please give her the strength and passion to pursue Your will for her life. Give her peace of mind so that she may never be lonely in Your presence. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
