I have been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in the bottom 4 vertebrae. There is painfull arthritis. In addition I have 5 herniated discs in midback. God has blessed me with being able to bear the pain. It hurts most of the time. I have a doctors appointment on 1/21/05. The doctor thinks that since I forget to take the medicine she prescribed I am not complying. Not the case. I also have ADHD, short term memory disorders, and other issues. Most medications just don't work the same when you are over 6'3". The doctor doesn't understand that. She is 5'. Also the medication she prescribed is not covered by my drug plan and I just got coverage the begining of this year, as in 2005. I need prayers for a solution, some comfort, and some answers. I know God is going to take care of me and has my best interest at heart. Oh by the way I am only 36.

Dear Brother,
I was just diagnosed with that. I had been battling breast cancer for 3 years and because of steroids while on chemo my back was pain free. I asked for an MRI and it falsely said I had an enhancing metastatic lesion C7. My oncologist had me take a cat and PET scan. Good news no cancer. Now as I write I have bad back pain(mostly lower Back). I am taking hydrocodone which eases pain but causes dizziness.Also physical therapy and steroids for a week then non steroids next week.. Our Lord is in control as you well know. I will be praying for you! Thank you for sharing.

Father I pray for you to heal Tom. The pain in his back is excruitiating and Lord I pray for you to withdraw it. He probably doesn't need the medication just your healing hand. Lord you are our healer and we ask you to make this right. Thank you Jesus. Amen.

I was diagnosed as well with degenerative disc disease, but here is the weird thing, I went 8 years wiith constant pain and just recently since my husband left me, I prayed for myself (selfishly) and then got a clue and started feeling the pain and sorrow of other people and started praying for them and without me even realizing it my back no longer hurt. I asked a long time ago for God to heal me then I never prayed that prayer again, so why God chose now to heal my back is one of the mysteries of God. My marriage is still a diaster but I can walk and sleep and am in no pain. It is true God hears our prayers and gives us what we need. I am sure he will help you as well. Pray for others and committ yourself to doing the right things in life and you will be cured.
Dear Heavenly father heal your son. Amen.

It is so true when a man is 6ft 3in. tall does make a big deffrence. I pray that our loveing Father touches your body and removes the pain in your backAMEN.(note) tall people have a long way to bend over and they are most likeiy to bang there head on something. I have the same problem and we are not alone being tall. The top of my head realy hurts sometimes and my back, well thats a real big problem,God bless you and God will heal your back brother.
