My marriage - an update

I first want to thank all of you who have prayed for my husband and I. I do feel that God is working on both my heart and my husband's heart...as I can see some positive steps towards reconciliation taking place. This past Sunday we attended church together. We have spent time together this past week, and yesterday he took me out to dinner (it was our 1 year anniversary). God has really been convicting me of the things I did that hurt both my husband and my marriage...and has been showing me ways to turn from those things.
I don't feel I can let my guard down yet...as I know we are not back on solid ground. So, I just ask that you please continue to hold me and my husband in your prayers that God would continue to work on both our hearts to bring us back in commitment to each other. I know that God is the only one who can turn my marriage back around and bring us back together completely.

Dear God,
We thank you for your continious work on this marriage. Let Jesus who be in their hearts to take control of their hearts, minds and marriage. Work on them so that they may have harmony, romance, friendship, respect, honesty and great love for one another. Please renew their love. Amen.

It's a realy eye opener when you honestly sit down and listen to the other side. We do petty things but we don't see them. I am glad you recognize your part and I pray he recognizes his. Maybe you should let your guard down. Fear is a lie satan tells us. Be truthful and honest and open. Rely on God and give it all to Him. Peace be unto you. Father God we pray for this marriage and these two people that the love that was bound in Your name will be healed and restored. In Jesus name, Amen
