Cassie you have sent me scouring passages to find an answer to your question in your reply to Kyle. Here is some I found but I am not sure if that was what you were looking for.
. It is by Faith in Christ's Atonement. "Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law, but by the Faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the Faith of Christ, and not by the works of the Law: for by the Law shall no flesh be justified" (Galatians 3:16 KJV). "I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness [come] by the law, then Christ is dead in vain" (Galatians 2:21 KJV). The Ten Commandments was a covenant between God and the Nation of Israel at Mount Sinai. Christians have nothing to do with the Ten Commandments. Christians fulfill the Spirit of the Law, NOT the letter of the Law, for the letter of the Law kills, but the Spirit of the Law gives Life. (Read Paul's Epistle to the Galatians AND 2nd Corinthians chapter 3!).
Look at Romans 1:18, "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness." This is given as the reason why we need saving. God is very angry at our unrighteousness and the way we suppress and distort the truth to justify ourselves.

Or look in the next chapter, Romans 2:8, to see another glimpse of this. Paul says that "to those who are selfishly ambitious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness (notice those two words again, as in 1:18 – "truth" rejected and "unrighteousness" embraced), [God will render] wrath and indignation." This is our problem. God is indignant and wrathful toward us in our unrighteousness and our untruthfulness.

Thanks Suzie for taking the time to look through the bible for that verse of scripture for me. It wasn't any of the ones you found although it seems to deal with the same subject. I remember reading it many times, just can't seem to find it when I want it! I know it is in the new testament though. I haven't had the time to really spend searching for it. Thanks again.

As for Kyle: I pray the Lord leads us in what to say and how to pray for her. I understand that she feels vulnerable and why. I wish there was a way to communicate to her exactly how God feels about her and that HIS opinion of her is all that matters.

Dear Heavenly Father, I ask in Jesus' name that you reveal to Kyle just how precious she is to you. Help her to see that she is a jewel in Your Heavenly Crown. That every hair on her head is nimbered. That NOTHING happens to her that You are not concerned about. That You have a PLAN for her life and a PURPOSE for her. Help her to see that being treated so badly by another does not make her worth any less as a human being. Help her to see that it is actually a reflection of HIS personality and not HERS! Help her to see that she is your precious daughter. That you LOVE her beyond all she could imagine. Lord, I ask that you help Kyle to FEEL the love you have for her. Help her to see her worth. Build her up! Give her the strength and courage to take charge of her life and stand up for herself. Make a way where there seems to be no way. A means of escape. Help her to live the kind of life YOU want her to live, O Lord. AMEN!

Thank you

As I am sure you can imagine I have very left (if any) self-esteem...and hence, I feel like the whole world is against me. I am sorry I misjudged your prayer. Please forgive me.

I am not being unkind to you. Cassie ask a question about a passage in the bible or that she thinks is in the bible and I was looking it up or trying to, in her reply to you. Kyle I am so sorry you are going through so much right now.

Please, put this in "layman's terms for me

When being spoken about...I would like to know if it is in kindness or otherwise...Hence, I am letting you know that I do not understand what these words "about me" are..... are they "uplifting" or are they "beating me down". I am seriously at a loss here...though I have a college degree...I do not have a degree in the Bible. So, please help this ignorant sister understand what words are being said. God Bless and Thank You.
