Everyone is tempted. It is important to remember that it is SATAN that does the tempting not God. God provides a way of escape. It is up to each individual to choose that way of escape or choose to submit to the temptation. That goes for ANY kind of temptation. When you are tempted right away start praying for strength to resist. Now here is the difficult part. At that time you will likely feel far from God and not at all worthy to ask for His help. That is SATAN trying to erase that avenue of escape! Don't listen to him. Just pray until the desire stops. God WILL hear you. He WILL strengthen you to resist. Dear Heavenly Father, In Jesus' name I ask you to come to this person when he/she needs you the most. Heed the call for help. Build a hedge around this person and chastise the devil for repeatedly tempting this person. AMEN! One more note: don't let your guard down. Just when you think you have overcome the temptation he will either hit you again with the same thing or with a NEW temptation! NEVER let your guard down with Satan!

I am about to arm you with information that is gold but you must be willing to come to a point of humility to be able to overcome behavior that is sexual sin. First I will say that prayer alone is not enough. In fact because of sexual sin you have no power in prayer except that of true repentance and true repentance only will come from a fear of the Lord. Here is scripture that will back up all that I'm saying to you. 1 Kings 11:1-6 You see here that King Solomon loved many women. The word love here is not love that is Godly love but another word for it is obsessed or you can even say idolized. Pornography is idolizaton of women or even men in the reverse or perverse case. Solomon turned to foreign gods because of these women and did evil in the eyes of the Lord. If you read the whole chapter you see that God tore the kingdom from Solomon. Jesus said He was not of this world but of the kingdom of heaven. My point is that when you sexually sin you are ripped from the kingdom of heaven and have no power in it. The scripture for true repentance is in 2 Corinthians 7:10 where it says that there is a worldly sorrow and a Godly sorrow that produces deliverance. The only way to Godly sorrow is the fear of the Lord. You obviously a conviction that you are doing something wrong. I want to urge you to get help even if it costs you everything because if you look at it the right way you really have nothing to begin with. You might have some material possesions or maybe a little or a lot of money but a continued life of sexual sin will eventually rob you of all you have. The most prescious thing you can have in this world is a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and next is family and then friends. You need to lose your life so you can gain it. Matthew 16:25. Lose the life of sin and you will find your life in Him. I told you earlier that prayer alone will not help, you need to humble yourself and go talk to someone about it. Lord give this person a way out and help with accountability of another person that is safe to talk with, that will not judge but tell the absolute truth and ask the right questions. Help this person cross paths with the right person to talk with and lead them along the path of deliverance step by step in Jesus name, amen.
