1 John 4:16 New International Version (NIV)
16 ...God is love...

God is love. It is impossible for God to do something that is not love. We know that love is kind. Many people think that God controls everything that happens, but that is not love. God never wanted you to sin, but you have sinned. God did not control you and force you not to sin. When you sinned, it was out of God's hands. God is a gentleman and will not force you to do what is right. Now you have to understand that this has been going on for thousands of years. For thousands of years, men and women have been doing their own thing and God has permitted them to do it. Why do you think there is so much suffering in this world? Do you think God wants it that way? Of course not, God gave man a free will. We have the power to choose what is right or to choose what is wrong. God will not force us to choose what is right.

I hope that you are seeing this. All suffering is either a direct or indirect result of sin. Cancer does not come on somebody because God puts it on them. That would not be love. Cancer is an indirect result of sin. Sickness and death is either a direct or indirect result of sin. Here let me show you.

Revelation 21:3-4 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them,

4 and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away."

When we get into heaven there will NOT be any sin, sickness, disease, cancer, pain, or death. It will all be done away with. No sin, no suffering. God's will is done in heaven. On earth, God's will is done to the degree that man obeys God. When we are disobedient and sin then Satan's will is done.

Luke 11:2 King James Version (KJV)
2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

Jesus shows us in this verse that God's will is done in heaven, but God's will is not always done in the earth. Jesus would not ask the Apostles to pray for something they already have. God's will is NOT done 100% of the time on the earth. On earth, God's will is only done when a man or a woman cooperates with God, and we have a choice to cooperate with God.

Speak the Word: Father, I yield my life to you. I renounce sin and I submit myself to your will. May God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
