Isaiah 40:31 Amplified Bible (AMP)
31 But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.
Renewed strength! Are you tired all the time? Are you weary from the daily grind? Rush to work. Rush to the grocery store. Rush home. Rush here. Rush there. Take a moment to slow down and wait upon the LORD.
In this verse, the word "wait" means to look for, hope, and expect. Do you see the trust in these words? Trust the Lord with your heart and He will renew your strength. You will run and not grow weary. You will rush, rush, rush and will not grow tired.
Speak the Word:Father I trust you with all my heart. I have a lot to do and I trust you to renew my strength. I will go forth in the strength of my Lord.
