6 That is why I would remind you to stir up (rekindle the embers of, fan the flame of, and keep burning) the [gracious] gift of God...

When you were Born Again God placed the Holy Spirit inside you. The power of God is right there. Yes, right there inside of you. The same power that shaped the earth and gave life to man. Immeasurable, immense, enormous power is in you.

"Then, why do I have so many problems?" you may ask? Just do what Paul told Timothy to do. Stir up the gift. Fan the flame of the power that God has placed inside of you. Get excited about what God has put inside of you. Believe the promises of God and get excited about the victory that is yours. Hey, who can defeat the Holy Spirit? Who can defeat the one that is in you? NOBODY!

4 Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.

Speak the Word: Father I thank you for the Holy Spirit that is in me. I stir up the gift that is in me. My family and I thank you for giving us the victory.
