Mark 10:51 New International Version (NIV)
51 "What do you want me to do for you?" Jesus asked him.

The blind man said, "Rabbi, I want to see."

Do you have a lot of needs? I bet blind Bartimaeus had a lot of needs. Most people that are begging need food, clothes, shelter, a job... I bet he had things he needed. However, Bartimaeus did not ask Jesus to meet those needs. Bartimaeus asked Jesus for sight. If Bartimaeus could just see it would take care of most of the things he was needing.

Before you ask Jesus for this, that, and some of the other. Sit down. Take a moment. Find out what you really need. Ask God for that thing that would take care of most of your needs. Then thank God for answering your prayer. Thank God for supplying all of your needs.

Speak the Word: Father, I have taken the time. I have given it some thought. I believe that I need _______. I thank you in advance for supplying all of my needs.
