Isaiah 54:17 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
17 "No weapon that is formed against you will prosper;
And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
And their vindication is from Me," declares the LORD.
Your righteousness is from God. When you confess your sins to God, He is faithful and just to forgive your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). For some reason, I found it easier to believe that God will forgive my sins than to believe that God will protect me. That is, until I started to understand love. You forgive the ones you love. You protect the ones you love. Not only did God forgive your sins but God will protect you as well.
Speak the Word:Father, thank you for loving me, thank you for forgiving my sins, and thank you for protecting me. No weapon formed against me will prosper.
