Ezekiel 1:27-28 New Living Translation (NLT)
27 From his waist up, he looked like gleaming amber, flickering like a fire. And from his waist down, he looked like a burning flame, shining with splendor. 28 All around him was a glowing halo, like a rainbow shining through the clouds. This was the way the glory of the LORD appeared to me. When I saw it, I fell face down in the dust, and I heard someone's voice speaking to me.

The power and the glory of the Lord are awesome to behold. Take a moment and imagine what that looked like. See the form of God. He looks like a man. Standing tall. Covered in flames. Power coming through his body. Imagine God walking towards you. You can feel the power. You can feel His love as He approaches you. The only thing you are conscious of is the presence of God. His presence consumes your every thought and your very being.

Now, what has God planned for you?

Romans 8:29 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;

God has planned that you would be conformed to the image of Jesus. Jesus is the first born among many brethren. Believers are becoming just like Jesus. The sons of God will be clothed in the same glory as Jesus.

Romans 8:18-21 New International Reader's Version (NIRV)

18 What we are suffering now is nothing compared with the glory that will be shown in us.

19 Everything God created looks forward to the time when his children will appear in their full and final glory.

20 The created world was bound to fail. But that was not the result of its own choice. It was planned that way by the One who made it. God planned

21 to set the created world free. He didn't want it to rot away completely. Instead, he wanted it to have the same glorious freedom that his children have.

Speak the Word:I am being conformed into the image of Jesus. Soon the children of God will appear in their full and final glory.
