John 3:16 New International Version (NIV) 16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Love is what this life is all about. I know sometimes it does not look like it. At times you will have issues to deal with. But take a look at this verse. "For God so loved the world". God wanted an opportunity to express His great love. So he made the earth and all the things in it for Adam and Eve.
Now, you have to understand the nature of love. You love your children. Are you going to force your children to love you back? No, you won't do that. That is not love. Your children can decide to love you or hate you but they get to make that decision.
God is the same way. You get to decide if you will love God. God will not force himself on you. So choose to love God. Open your heart to God and give yourself completely to Him. Give God the opportunity to shower even more of His love on you.
Romans 8:32 New International Version (NIV) 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
God is looking for the opportunity to shower you with all good things. God is looking for the opportunity to shower His love on you.
James 1:17 New International Version (NIV) 17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
Give your love to God. Open yourself up to His best and watch God shower his love on you.
Speak the Word:Father, I love you with all of my heart, strength, and mind. I also know that you love me and will freely give us all things.
