Hebrews 13:5-6 Amplified Bible (AMP)
5 Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]

6 So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me?

Fear and dread will stop you. Fear has stopped some Christians from fulfilling the call of God on their lives. They were afraid of what their spouse, family, and friends would think. They were afraid to step out and do what God has asked them to do. But they never understood this verse.

The first thing to notice is "God Himself has said". If you let fear stop you then you don't believe God. This is not something I have said. This is not something your Pastor has said. This is not something that a clever author has said. This is what "God has said". Trust and believe that God loves you enough to never leave you nor forsake you.

Did you notice where it said "[I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not"? God is trying to stress a point. God wants to get something across to you in a way that you will never forget it. What is it that God does not want you to forget? God will not leave you helpless.
God will back you up. Obey God and He will back you up, even when it looks impossible to you. If God told you to do it then God will provide a way for you to do it. Be bold. Be courageous. Do what God has told you to do and you will succeed.

Speak the Word: Father, you are my helper. I will not dread. I am fearless. I obey the Lord my God.
