Philippians 4:8 New International Version (NIV) 8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.
The Word of God is telling us what to think. To live in faith you will have to discipline your thought life. Let's run a little test. We will start by defining fear.
Fear is a confident expectation of something bad or undesirable.
Now think on something that is - true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy. Are you thinking of something that is bad or undesirable? God is training us to think thoughts of "faith" rather than thoughts of "fear". When you discipline yourself to think on these things you are developing your faith. Learn to walk in a confident expectation of things that are good and desirable.
Speak the Word:Father I will think on those things that are true, noble, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy. I am a Man/Woman of Faith.
