1 Peter 5:8 New King James Version (NKJV)
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
Satan is looking for someone he "may" devour. But you are among those that he "cannot" devour. If Satan could devour the Body of Christ he would have done it a long time ago.
Satan used Nero the Emperor of Rome to try to destroy the Body of Christ. He killed many Christians when the Body of Christ was small and young. Today the Body of Christ is all over the World. Satan has not been able to stop us. He does not have the power to stop us.
John 17:23 New International Version (NIV)
23 I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
Believe and understand that God loves you as much as He loves Jesus. Do not fear Satan. Be one of those whom Satan cannot touch. Do not believe the lies of Satan. Believe the Word of God. Stand firmly on the Word of God and do not let go of the Word, even in the face of adversity. Don't give up on what God has spoken to your heart. Go boldly, proclaiming the Word of the Lord and watch Satan flee in stark terror.
James 4:7 New International Version (NIV)
7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Speak the Word:Father, I believe the Word of God which says, "you love me as much as you love Jesus". I resist Satan and watch him flee from me.
