4 "You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman.

Satan has been lying to the human race since he first spoke to Eve. In fact Jesus said that Satan was the father of lies.

John 8:44 New International Version (NIV)
44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Are we deceived? Have we believed a lie? We need to check what we believe with the Word of God. If what we believe, does not line up with the Word of God, then what we believe is wrong. God did not make a mistake; we just believed the wrong thing. So, if you see it in the Word of God, then agree with the Word. Even if it goes against what you have been taught or even believed in the past.

John 17:23 New International Version (NIV)
23 I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

Jesus prayed to God that everyone in the world would know that God loves you just as much as God loves Jesus. Do not let Satan fool you into thinking that you are some worthless sinner. You are not. Either you are forgiven or you are still in your sin. You can't be forgiven and still in sin. You stopped being a sinner the minute that Jesus forgave you. As far as God is concerned, you have never sinned.

12 As far as the east is from the west,

So far has He removed our transgressions from us.

It doesn't matter if you feel like it or not. What matters, is that you don't fall into the same trap that Eve did. Don't believe the lies of Satan. Trust the Word of God and walk in victory all the days of your life.

Speak the Word:Father, you love me as much as you love Jesus. You have forgiven me of all of my sins. Thank you.
