Hebrews 8:6 New International Version (NIV)
6 But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, and it is founded on better promises.
We are going to look at three areas that your covenant with God covers - health, wealth, and wisdom. Today we are going to focus on health.
1 Peter 2:24 New International Version (NIV)
24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.
The stripes or the wounds of Jesus have healed us. We do not have to accept sickness or disease in our bodies. Tell me, is there sickness or disease in heaven? Of course not! Jesus does not have sickness or disease neither does God. Satan came to steal, kill, and destroy. Satan brought sickness and disease onto humanity.
James 5:14-16 New International Version (NIV)
14 Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord.
15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.
16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
God anointed Jesus to heal the sick and that anointing came to rest inside of you when you received Jesus as your savior.
John 17:26 Amplified Bible (AMP)
26 I have made Your Name known to them and revealed Your character and Your very Self, and I will continue to make [You] known, that the love which You have bestowed upon Me may be in them [felt in their hearts] and that I [Myself] may be in them.
Speak the Word: Father, I have Jesus inside me. The power and the anointing that Jesus used to heal the sick is inside of me now. I will not be sick another day of my life.
