1 Corinthians 13:4 Amplified Bible (AMP)
4 Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.

Did you know that describes you? Yes it is you. You endure long, and you are patient and kind. You are never envious or boil over with jealousy. You are not boastful or seeking self glory. You do not display yourself haughtily. I can say that because that is what the bible says about you.

Romans 5:5 New International Version (NIV)
5 And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

Now you may be saying "That's not me. You should have seen the fit I threw this morning." I understand. I have to deal with my flesh. But look at what the Word of God is saying to us. "God has poured out his love into our hearts." We may not always act like God's love is in us, but that does not change the fact that it is. Just because you can not see the air does not mean that it's not there. Love is the same way.

What we have to learn to do is to cultivate the love that God has poured into us. We have a choice, we can follow love or we can follow the flesh. When you live life doing what you want to do, then you will not be cultivating love. Often it's not love until you don't want to and do it anyway. When you walk in love because you love God or love one another, then you are moving away from what you want to do and moving towards what God wants you to do. So decide today to walk in love, even when you don't want to and you will never fail.

Speak the Word:Father I walk in love even when I don't want to. Love never fails and neither do I.
