Hebrews 11:6 Amplified Bible (AMP)
6 But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].

Have you noticed that God is not moved by your needs? God is moved by your faith. If God was moved by the size of the need then we would not have children starving in various parts of the world. Don't tell God about the size of your problem. Talk to God about the solution. Here, let me give you an example.

Problem focused prayer - Ohh God I am soo sick. I hurt so bad. God can't you see how this is affecting me?

Solution focused prayer - God I believe that you have healed me. 1 Peter 2:24 says that by your strips I was healed. I believe that Jesus bore my sickness on the Cross and...

Now, think about it for a minute. Think about all of the miracles you know of in the Bible. Did those people focus on the need or the solution? The Shunammite woman said her son was well when he was dead. Three boys said God would save them as they were thrown into the furnace. The woman that touched the hem of Jesus' clothes said she would be healed. Blind Bartimaeus refused to listen to the crowd and asked Jesus to heal him. And you can do the same.

Speak the Word: Father I seek you daily with everything I have. I believe that you exist and I believe that you reward those that diligently seek you.
