Hebrews 11:1 King James Version (KJV)
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Faith and fear are opposite forces. Faith creates and fear destroys. Faith is the substance of things hoped for. Fear is the substance of things not desired. Faith is a tool of God. Fear is the tool of Satan. God's will is enforced through faith. Satan's will is enforced through fear.
Now, I am not talking about emotional fear. I am talking about spiritual fear. You do not have to be scared to be in fear. I have known people who all they talk about are how bad things are. Have you noticed that bad things seem to happen to them? Spiritual fear is talking about and thinking about things you do not hope for.
Please do not misunderstand me. I am not saying that bad things do not happen to faith people. That would be like saying that good things never happen to people who are always negative. I am saying that you can walk by faith and overcome the world or you can walk in fear and be overcome by the world. Walk by faith. Think and talk about the things you are hoping for.
1 John 5:4 New International Version (NIV)
4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
Speak the Word: Father, I walk by faith and not by sight. I am not persuaded by what I see. Your Word persuades me. I think and talk the Word only.
