Isaiah 53:5 Amplified Bible (AMP)
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.

You have healing because of what Jesus suffered on the cross. Now, healing is not something you have to work at to receive from God. It is something God has already given you. Let me show you what I mean.

Pick up a pen and hold it in your hand. Now, you do not have to ask me to give you a pen. You already have one. Healing is the same way. You do not have to ask God for health. God has already given you health. We get tripped up because Satan came to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Satan is trying to steal or destroy your pen (or your health).

You have to take steps to protect the pen (or your health). At some stores and banks you will find pens on chains. They are trying to stop you from taking their pen. You have to do the same with your health. You have to take steps to protect your health because Satan is trying to take it. The quickest way to protect your health is to use your faith for healing, eat right, and exercise.

Speak the Word: Father, I believe that by Jesus strips I was healed. I eat only those foods that are good for me and I exercise regularly.
