Mark 11:25-26 Amplified Bible (AMP) 25 And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop.
26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings.
For years I was angry with my grandparents. Every time I would think of them I would get mad and blame them for a lot of the hardship I endured. My anger poisoned my soul and my life.
I forgave my grandparents by praying for them. When I got angry with them I would open my mouth and pray good things for them. I prayed for their health. I prayed that God would protect them. My Grandmother has Alzheimer's so I would pray that God would give her a sound mind. I prayed that their finances would improve. I prayed that God would bless them abundantly. I prayed every good or beneficial thing I could think of. And you know what? I stopped being angry with my grandparents. I forgive them.
Do you need to forgive somebody? Start by praying for them and before you know it you will be in love with them.
Speak the Word: Father I release the love of God on _____. I pray that you would surround them with your love. I pray that they would have divine health, protection, and wealth. In the name of Jesus.
