Philippians 1:6 Amplified Bible (AMP)
6 And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.

God has started a good work in your life. He is molding and shaping you to be just like He is. Have you noticed that the closer you get to God the more you act like He does? Here, let me show you what I mean.

Galatians 5:22-23 Amplified Bible (AMP)
22 But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness,

23 Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge].

Instead of being selfish you will walk in love. Instead of anger you will have joy. Instead of vengeance you will have peace with your enemies. Instead of being impatient you will be longsuffering. As you get closer to God you will become more like God. You see God is finishing the work He started in you. God will keep working with you.

Speak the Word: Father, everyday I become more like you. Everyday I have more love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and patience.
