5 ...Love (God's love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking...

In some things I am a slow learner. In my late 30's I began to learn that "Love does NOT seek her own rights or insist on her own way". It is a shame, if I had only known then what I know now…. Let me make it real simple. When I lived insisting on my own way or seeking my good, I was miserable. It took me a long time to learn that when you live a life walking in love that life gets better and better. It sounds odd, but when I lived for myself I was miserable. When I learned to NOT be self-seeking I started to live a life that I love. Don't wait! Start living! You will love your life! Do not be self seeking.

Speak the Word:Father, I will walk in love. I will not be self seeking. I will seek the good of those around me. I will live a life I love by walking in love.
