Philippians 4:8 King James Version (KJV) 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Anger, frustration, mad, upset, disappointed, depressed... I have felt them all and I am sure that you have as well. Have you ever noticed that you can't be angry (or one of the others) and still think on things that true, honest, just, pure, lovely, good report, virtue, and praise. You can't dwell on what is good and be angry (or frustrated, or... ). Now, this can permanently change your life, if you will use it. It takes practice, when you get angry or... then start thinking about something that is true, honest, just, pure, lovely, good report, virtue, and worthy of praise. Stop thinking about the junk and start thinking about what is good. Before you know it you will be singing a new song.
Speak the Word:Father, I will only think about what is true, honest, just, pure, lovely, good report, virtue, and worthy of praise. I will not think about the junk. I will leave that in your hands. Thank you for giving me unquenchable joy.
