Malachi 3:10-11 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
10 "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this," says the LORD of hosts, "if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.

11 "Then I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of the ground; nor will your vine in the field cast its grapes," says the LORD of hosts.

God is going to use angels to protect the fruit of my vine. I do not have a garden or grapevines, so how would this apply to me? When this verse was written the people of Israel were primarily farmers. God was telling them that He would protect their labor and make sure that it was profitable. So, if I were to apply it to me I would think of it as "God is going to protect my work and see to it that I prosper". If you are a sales person, you might say, "God is going to protect my business and see to it that my sales increase". A mother might say "God is going to protect my children and see to it that they follow after God all the days of their lives". A child might say "God is going to protect me from bullies and help me get good grades". No matter what you are doing and working on God is protecting the fruit of your vines.

Hebrews 1:14 New International Version (NIV)
14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

God is using angels to protect the fruit of your vine and to make sure that you prosper. To minister means to help or to serve in some way. Angels were sent to serve you and one of the ways that they do that is by protecting your work from the devourer and making sure that you prosper in everything you do. God wants you to prosper because you are an ambassador for Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:20 Amplified Bible (AMP)
20 So we are Christ's ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ's personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God.

Speak the Word:Father, I am an ambassador for Christ. Ministering angels help me prosper in the work God has given me.
