Proverbs 19:17 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

17 One who is gracious to a poor man lends to the LORD,

And He will repay him for his good deed.

Why do companies pay their employees? Now give this a moment and think about it. Why does a company give money to their employees? The company pays because they owe the money to them. Why do you pay your bills? You pay your bills because you owe the money. I want you to notice what is happening here. This is an important principal about money. The key to getting money is in the exchange. You have to give to receive. Wealth comes from exchanging. You can give your time, talents, ideas, and workmanship in exchange for money.

Now this verse shows us that we can make an exchange with God. God said if you give to the poor, God will repay you. When you give of your money, talents, time and workmanship for God to use then God will repay you. Do you volunteer at your Church? Don't miss the opportunity to receive. If you give of your money, time, ability, and workmanship to your Church then God will get involved in repaying you for your work.

Galatians 6:7-10 New International Version (NIV)

7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

Do you need more money? Then get into the giving side of life and before you know it, you will be receiving more than you can handle.

Speak the Word: Father, I am a giver. I give of my time, my talents, my workmanship, and my money. I am not deceived. I will reap a harvest from what I have given.
