James 1:2-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Hebrews 6:12 New International Version (NIV)

12 We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.

How are you at taking tests? Some people talk about freezing up when they take a test. Some people cheat at taking a test. You see trails are nothing but a test. Your faith is being tested.

Romans 10:17 King James Version (KJV) 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Faith comes by hearing the word of God. So let me make this simple. A test of your faith is a test of how much Word you have heard and how much of it you have believed. A trial does not perfect your faith. You need to perfect your faith, by hearing the word, before you get into the trial. That trial is going to test how much faith you already have. In the process of the trial patience is perfected.

James 1:3-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Now, did you see the result that was promised? You will be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. Praise God that is a good reason to have joy!

Speak the Word: Father, I will consider it all joy when I experience trails, because my I know the testing of my faith will produce patience, and the result of patience is I am perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
