Hebrews 11:1 King James Version (KJV)
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith and fear are opposites. Faith creates. Fear destroys. Faith believes. Fear doubts. Faith is the substance of things hoped for. Fear is the substance of things you do not want. Faith and fear are powerful forces in the earth. Faith is used by God to do good. Fear is used by Satan to destroy. Faith and fear have the power to change the course of your life. Faith or fear will affect your destiny. Faith will bring about God's will in your life and fear will stop God from working in your life.

Mark 6:4-6 Amplified Bible (AMP)
4 But Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honor (deference, reverence) except in his [own] country and among [his] relatives and in his [own] house.

5 And He was not able to do even one work of power there, except that He laid His hands on a few sickly people [and] cured them.

6 And He marveled because of their unbelief (their lack of faith in Him). And He went about among the surrounding villages and continued teaching.

Jesus was not able to do any mighty works. It did not say that Jesus would not, decided not to, or that Jesus waited to, or… It says that Jesus was not "able" to do any mighty works. Faith was required for a mighty work and they lacked faith in Jesus. Now it was not that Jesus did not have the faith to heal them. It was that they did not have the faith in Jesus. They did not believe what Jesus told them. For God to work in your life you must believe God.

Ok, so faith is confidence an expectation of things you are hoping for. Fear is confidence or an expectation of things you do not desire. Often we think of fear in the sense of having an emotional reaction. Fear is belief in death and the emotion is a response to that belief. When you encounter fear, start declaring the word of God. Start declaring what you desire and back it up with the word of God.

You may still have a physical reaction of fear, but that is ok. Just strengthen your faith by declaring the Word of God. Speak out God's will for your life and watch God go to work.

Speak the Word: Father, I will not walk in fear. I have been given a spirit of love, power, and a sound mind. I will complete my destiny. I will reach my destination.
