Genesis 1:27 New International Version (NIV)
27 So God created man in his own image,

in the image of God he created him;

male and female he created them.

You have been created in the image and likeness of God. You have the image of God in the same way you have the image of your parents. You have a will and God has a will. We call it "will power". There is power in your will. Power to create or to destroy. You can use your will to create something beautiful or something useful. You can use your will to do "good" or to do "evil". It is up to you. You get to choose. So choose "good" that you and your family may live.

God also has a will. God made a choice to create the earth and mankind. God made a choice to give us authority over every living creature.

Genesis 1:28 New International Version (NIV)

28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

Now that we have that authority it can be a blessing or a curse in our lives. It will be blessing when we choose to live life God's way. It will be a curse when we choose live life our way.

Joshua 1:8 New International Version (NIV)
8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

When you meditate on the Word of God you will "do" the word of God. When you "do" the Word of God you will have good success.

Speak the Word: Father, I meditate on the Word of God everyday. I agree with the Word of God and I "do" what the Word says I should do. I have good success.
