John 14:12-14 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 12 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.
13 "Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 "If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.
Are you a believer? If you are a believer then you will do the works of Jesus. Jesus made it pretty simple. "he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also". Jesus said this during his last hours on earth. This is one of those "important points" Jesus wanted to make before He went to the cross. Work on believing that statement. Work on saying "Jesus said it, so He must be willing and able to back it up." It is not up to you to make it happen. Your job is to believe and act accordingly. Jesus is responsible for backing it up. It is Jesus who will back you when you step out in faith to do the works that He did. Trust Jesus. Trust what He said:
John 14:13-14 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 13 "Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 "If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.
You wont be doing it. Jesus said, "I will do it". Be bold. Be courageous. Be willing to do what Jesus said you would do. Step out in faith and let Jesus back your play.
Matthew 24:35 New International Version (NIV) 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
Speak the Word: Father, the Word says that believers will do the works of Jesus. I am a believer. I qualify. I will step out in faith to do the works of Jesus.
