3 John 1:2 King James Version (KJV)
2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
John was an old man when he wrote this verse. He walked with Jesus in his youth and was there for the crucifixion and resurrection. John had been a leader in the Church since it began on Pentecost. Now, did you see what this Man of God whishes for above all things? "I wish that you would prosper and be in health, as your soul prospereth."
Isn't that what love wants? Doesn't love want you to prosper and be in health? That is what parents want for their children. That is what God wants. The God that so loved the world that He sent His only son. God wants you to prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers.

10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
Yes, Jesus came to cleanse you of sin, but He did not stop there. Jesus came so that you could live life abundantly, not so that you could barely get by.
Speak the Word: Jesus came so that I could be in good health and prosper even as my soul prospers. Jesus came so that I could live life abundantly.
